NATURE CONNECTION
IS THE FOUNDATION
We are inextricably linked with nature. Nature is our teacher, her rhythms are our rhythms.
We are committed to a world where all humans know they are whole, and in harmony with our ever evolving earth.
ABOUT US
At Tend Your Fire we gather around reverence for all of life, ancient and modern knowledge, and practice healthy ways to connect and learn.
Our offerings focus on building a healthy culture that deepens connection among all beings. We offer mentoring, guidance, and initiatory ceremonies for groups and various ages to meaningfully mark significant life transitions.
Through these experiences, participants co-create a place to practice and be immersed in life-ways that help us remember our deepest humanity grounded in love and connection to all of life.

What all of our ancestors have in common is each other, being in community and a shared culture deeply rooted in place.
At Tend Your Fire, our offerings aim to nurture a future where:
- Humans are living with the rhythms and wisdom of nature
- Ceremonies rise out of reverence and direct relationship with the land and our communities
- Education is embodied, relational and led by imagination and creativity
OUR ETHOS
Nature’s cycles exist
inside our beings.
We teach from the perspective that there is truly a time to plant seeds, grow, bloom and then let go and die - over and over, thousands of times within a lifetime.
Our programming supports building an embodied understanding that nature's cycles are our cycles, too. From this felt truth, we are more able to be present for what is emerging, and create the rich, complex and deep lives we most long for.
We want to nurture leaders who know where their greatest gift and longing
meets the world’s greatest need.
ABOUT REGINA
I am an educator, facilitator, rite of passage guide, mentor, and mother. Specifically, I’m a sex and fertility educator and am passionate about people being awake and empowered about this part of their lives. I’m dedicated to the cultivation of healthy relationships among all beings, and I work alongside nature to facilitate growth and transformation.
With over a decade of practice and service, I have honed my skills in deep nature connection, permaculture, wilderness rite of passage ceremony, and council. I have guided young people through the transition from childhood into teenage years and beyond with The Stepping Stones Project, The Global Youth Peace Summit, Wilderness Reflections, Credo High School, and in one-on-one mentoring. I have fasted, assisted and trained with the School of Lost Borders, studied Nature Awareness and Permaculture Design with the Regenerative Design Institute and Weaving Earth Center for Relational Education. I am a certified Wilderness First Responder. I am a co-organizer of the Buckeye Ancestral Skills Gathering.

I love life and find so much beauty in the day-to-day. Some things that bring me the most joy are Afro-Brazilian dancing, hiking up high in the mountains and growing food and flowers. I’m a passionate mother of two small boys and live with them and my husband in the North Eastern Sierra.
I graduated with a BS in Earth Systems Science and Policy from CSU Monterey Bay, this was the very beginning of a journey into deep reverence and connection to nature and social and environmental justice for which I’m truly grateful.
